Choosing Sunglasses for Sport and Everyday Movement

For running, cycling or long days outdoors, begin with full UV protection and enough lens coverage for the conditions in which you will use the glasses.
Fit matters just as much as the lens. Look for a light frame that stays in place when you move. Grippy nose pads and temple tips can help, especially in warm or humid weather.
Different lens tints suit different light. Grey keeps colours neutral, brown can improve contrast and polarized lenses can reduce reflected glare from roads or water. Ask before choosing polarized lenses for activities that rely on certain digital displays.
Bring your helmet, cap or other equipment when trying a pair in store. It is the simplest way to check that everything works together comfortably.
